Rock and Roll, Wasn't able to get to the dealership Friday, heading there today. Anything in particular I should keep my eye out for when checking out the car? I'm bringing the general checklist with me, just wanna make sure I got the essentials down.

I got my dealer to put me on the VINview alerts. Car was built on 9/15, and it has been at Jack Cooper in Toledo since 9/19.
As of yesterday, it's still there, but VINview says an ETA of 11/18, so just in time for 4 months of crappy weather. Last edited by beaurrr; 10-31-2023 at 01:25 PM. |

That's 4 months of sitting inside it in the garage, enjoying that new car smell and learning all the gadgets!

I was at the parts department at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, TX today. They had 3 ZL1s in their showroom. I'm not sure if any of them are already spoken for, but it may well be they just used their allocations up. One was a black matte 1LE coupe and two were convertibles.

Stupid question, my car still shows 3000 status but still doesn’t have a TPW. Is this, normal?
Edit: I check the order again and the car has been produced

Congrats! I last checked with my dealer on 10/16 and was at 3100 with a TPW of 10/30. I have been religiously checking each day although I'm not sure how quickly the bot updates. Either way I'm calling my dealer Friday to get the latest whether the chat shows something new or not.

You would think this day and age all manufactures would allow customers to access a database that shows exactly where their car is in the process from order to received at the dealer. It's not like they don't scan every step of the process in production and scan every time they move the car in the shipping process. Come on Gm you can do better you should not have to rely on salesmen who sometimes are not the most cooperative once they have your order.
