Becky, I contacted my salesman today and my order status was still 4300, so .

I do have a couple of random questions for you, though. Do you have any idea how long the train ride from Toledo, Ohio to the drop off point for Salt Lake City, Utah should take?

And, once my baby has been unloaded at the local rail yard, is there a website, similar to the palsap one, which will allow me to see when it starts moving to the dealer?

You weren't kidding when you said the shipping wait was even worse than the wait for the build.

At least I get to check in and see all of the beautiful cars everyone is collecting, while I very impatiently wait for mine to arrive.

I hope I have the opportunity to thank you, in person, some day, since you seem like a great person to hang with, and obviously have great taste in cars.

I grew up coveting my father's 1973 Camaro RS, and even got to drive it a few times, before he totalled it, the winter after I got my driver's license.

Ever since then, I have had to settle for looking at specs and wondering how much fun the newer models were to drive. My youngest child turns 16 next month, and will be taking over my current car, so I had to find something to get me around.

I figured at this point in my life, I could afford to splurge a little bit, and buy myself a not so practical vehicle. And, what better vehicle to throw my hard earned money at than the one I have been wanting for as long as I can remember.

I realize that I'm placing some pretty lofty expectations on a little old V6 Camaro, but it is what I could afford, and will blow the doors off of my current Subaru Impreza, so it should pacify my lust, until I can swing a big kid version.

I sure will. On a side note. I know that I have done at least one thing right, in my life. I showed a picture of a 1LE, like the one I ordered, to my 4 year old granddaughter, and she is super excited to ride in papa's race car.
