Not sure what you do for a living, but it seems investigation may be up your alley. Nice Job!

We will be able to have a complete list in the end...

I wonder how many numbers will be sequential with the VIN and if any will get cherry picked to be #2 etc.

The Excel file should have all 350 ZL1 VINs now if I'm correct (which I'm betting I am)

Excel file (linked on first post)

Attachment 1149657

I'll explain my process since no new cars were being posted on social media for the missing Mexico cars. I thought to cut down on a lot of guesswork the best way would be to find the sequence of the other cars that were built off of Lansing Grand River Plant. The only other two are the Cadillac CT4 and CT5, with a few changes to the script I'm pulling the data on them (it's been almost a week and I'm almost done, why does Cadillac have so many different variations). When it's finished I'll give a visit to their respective forums to see if anyone's interested in that.

I added the 2024 Camaro data to the 2024 CT4/CT5 data I pulled and the sequences line up perfectly in many cases. I used the gaps between known CE ZL1 cars as starting points and tried to find anything.

Unfortunately, since the Mexico cars aren't kept in the US VIN systems, I couldn't find any way to verify if a VIN was right. Until I found the warranty check site from GM.

https://experience.gm.com/ownercenter/recalls?vin=

While not an API endpoint like the window stickers, I was able to test the potential cars against that. Again the information the site gives isn't much but I did see a pattern.

CE #001: https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...FJ1R6XR0100021

Results in a 2024 Chevrolet Camaro A with active warranties.

For example a test VIN: https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...F91R65R0103028

Results in "Currently, there are no recalls or warranties for your vehicle..." etc.

So not a match there. But the match can be found here:

https://experience.gm.com/ownercente...F91R68R0100043

"2024 Chevrolet Camaro A" and if you scroll down the warranties say Mexico.

Thankfully it seems the missing ZL1 cars were the only ZL1s sent as I didn't find anything that didn't match the missing CE ### ranges. (Minus #112 which is potentially one of two VINs. Both Mexico ZL1's and both match in the range of 112)

My minor obsession with 'find them all' is over.

For now...

Excellent work! Thank you for the dedication! I had all but given up on finding all the Mexican cars.

I did for a bit as well but once I found out the CT4/CT5 was the only other car coming out of the same factory I thought it was worth another shot.

Here's the file of every single sequence found from 100001 - 130000 out of the plant (Camaro, CT4, CT5)

https://1drv.ms/x/s!AsH22DOMp_qsq94b...-QNAQ?e=FE1nV8

The 2024 Cadillac only file I used in search of missing sequences since the Caddy has so many different identifying VINs

https://1drv.ms/x/s!AsH22DOMp_qsq9Vm...77OAw?e=3Kg3KI

From what I've searched the 2024 CT4/CT5 is still going till end of May, I only did up to 130k sequence since the Camaro only went up to that for 2024. I'll get the rest in June probably

Although, now that I’ve put it together in one file, I can assign the missing sequences their corresponding VIN’s. I’ll take a look and see how much work that would be, maybe even get a count of cars sent out of North America

Looking like it’s 1/349 now, could’ve been any of the Mexico cars. I can’t make out the plate so can’t get the actual one

Edit: someone in the comments says it’s #123 which is a Mexico car and was down as Sold.

A hit & run to boot. I love taking mine out but hate parking it anywhere. Given what it is I'm guessing it will get fixed or VIN swapped to another chassis. I'll edit car 123 as severely damaged so hopefully no unsuspecting buyer thinks it's an unmolested original.

It is just so very sad to see this end of an era... Honestly, I'm scared to drive my damn 2SS anymore for fear that it will get wrecked and there is no way to replace it...

It is crazy, part of me says "sell it and rid yourself of this burden" and the other part says "if you let this go, you will NEVER have another..." (custom ordered and picked up with 3 miles on the odometer)

So at this point, I basically have a garage queen, but damn she is nice to look at...

As much as I love (and spent on) mine, it's only a car. Yes, I bought her brand new, too, but if it perishes, we move on... I won't stop enjoying these drives in our now unicorn 6th gens. Just my 2 cents'
