So, who was the last person on here to replace the pump? Curious to what part number they used. Is the latest still 12686434?

I want to know who the 2019 was or did someone mark it by mistake?

Anecdotal, but I’m at a southern MN Chevy dealership getting my track alignment done. There is a 17/18 white regular ZL1 in the bay next to mine with zero oil pressure according to the service advisor.

Look back a page or two, I posted a copy of my service receipt from last month. P/N should be there.

The car is driving nicely. I did get the PID programmed in torque pro to show oil pressure. It was a surprise to get that to work. I had to program the PID manually. I’d love to know what other PID codes are hidden in this computer.

Anyway... cars running well. Oil pressure never goes over 43 on the gauge again. According to the torque app. The pressure does go over 43 when driving but the gauge never shows it. It’s weird. The water temp never matches either till the engine is warmed up. My Viper is accurate with the app. Anyway. Off topic a bit. The car runs and drives. I did get to see the oil pump they removed. It was cracked in half. Similar to the photos shown earlier in the thread.
What’s your hot idle oil pressure now? Is it the same as it was just before the failure?

Would it show to the OP of who posted the 2019 failure? Be nice to know if the claimed failure was a pump put on during mods or if pump that came with the car. And if it was during mods, which part number pump.

Yes it’s the same as it was on the gauge before it had an issue.

I might be the latest victim. Oil pressure shot to max on the gauge and I pulled into a parking lot, and then the pressure went to zero and told me to shut it down and I did.

Will have it towed on Monday to dealership.

Also, can you please share what oil you were using, hot idle oil pressure, and any mods?
