I was there in July 2022, watching my 23 ZLE being built. I did get an email from my contact at the Plant and my SS has now shipped. My 2SS 1LE Riptide was built 9/11.

The dealer emailed last night and my 2SS 1LE has made it by rail to St Louis. It should be at the dealer by the end of October.

One thing worth mentioning is I was expecting delays, and perhaps significant ones on my ZL1’s rail journey to Texas. It actually came about a week sooner than promised.

Just received a call from the dealer in UT that my ‘24 Black ZL1/M6 I put a deposit on just arrived at the rail yard in SLC. I should know tonight or first thing in morning if my order I have here in CA for my Summit White one gets picked up by GM. If it does I will release the one I have the deposit on in UT. If someone is interested in it PM me and I’ll keep you informed and put you in touch with my contacts in UT. Details on it are ‘24, ZL1, M6, Black, Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert, Red Seat Belts and PDR. Price is straight MSRP no markups or dealer add Ons. They will NOT ship for you even if you pay so you would either have to fly out and drive it home or meet the carrier yourself to have loaded.

Did you have a chance to see the riptide car getting built?

Are you able to share your assembly photos on this site of the ZLE?

I am assuming you got to see the car being built because of your plant hookup?

My Riptide 2SS 1LE order was not picked up, so I located this car online. I did not watch this one. I would be happy to send some photos to your email address if you would pm your email. If I post them on this site, I get bashed for being a bragger.

After 11 long months from first placing my ZL1 order, I was finally able to pick it up today. I had originally ordered a ZLE, but the 2023 model year came and went with no fulfillment so when I reordered it for 2024 I dropped the 1LE package which I wasn't set on to begin with.

Be sure to post a pic. I’d love to see a ZL1 in that color. After owning a 2018 2LT/RS, I can tell you the ZL1 is completely awesome.
