Or if it's not going to end well I can just get the car shipped LOL
Stay out of boost, maybe even resort to snow'n'ice mode if temps are below mid-30s, especially if it snows while you're driving and you'll be fine, these tires are still usable at the extreme lower end of their capability. The one thing you don't want is try and drive on/through inches of snow, as these are summer tires with sipes completely unsuitable for snow traction.

Also, in terms of temperature they may crack if flexed under 20 degrees (see below), but if it doesn't get colder than mid-high 20s at night and you wait till later in the morning before driving off, it should be all right.

Thanks appreciate the insight. Looks like 50-60% chance of rain/snow through Santa Fe & Flagstaff next week but temps during the day stay in the low 30s. Still debating but I think I will be OK if I just drive conservatively.

The back end has only twice rotated more than unexpected. Once when it was cold (30’s F), wet, downhill into slow 90 deg intersection left turn and on another occasion doing 40 mph (warm, dry), brake downhill, into 30 mph entry of a 90 bend over rough pavement into uphill. It didn’t take much throttle to upset the rear axle in those scenarios. The back end was probably light already because of downhill braking and asking it to accelerate that little bit was too much to ask. Both required a brief countersteer to correct and a minute to return the heart rate to resting.

When it’s cold and wet, reduce the speed and soften the inputs where you’re asking the tires to turn and accelerate.

I would also agree with driving during the day to use the better visibility to avoid on-road hazards at night where you would have seen them much earlier in daylight. The forward lights are not that great at night.
