You're both right.

Easiest way for me to get the car relatively level and have enough room to work: Back car down an incline, place ramps behind rear wheels, place a small level on the window sill, back up ramps.

Just did the same. Put the ramps at the bottom of garage lip and backed up them a bit until I can fit under. It was level enough to do the job.

[QUOTE=Christian1LE;11179284]I have a couple of videos that might help you, first one is just to show the jack points, and the second video shows the DIFF fluid change (I use a Quickjack + Jackstands). Good luck. I tried to make them to the point w/o any fluff.

Thanks for the great videos. I just did the diff fluid on my 2021 ZL1. Nasty sludge on both plugs with only 2500 miles. That is some expensive fluid, $26.33 per quart on Amazon.

Has anyone done multiple changes and noticed if the sludge stops building up?

Interesting, I guess these gears just continue to wear hence the two magnetic plugs. Good call on changing this annually. I am surprised it is not recommended to do so in the manual.

It is clutch material not gear material hence why it doesn't get better.

That’s too much work for differential oil swap. I jus lay a piece of cardboard under the rear of the vehicle and use a ratchet and extension, a small oil pump, 30 min later done. No jacks no lifting the car. Not that hard unless your pushing over 200 Lbs. and can’t fit under the car.
