I did the same. Wasn’t happy with the 5000 not reaching the front lift point. 6000 is LONG but works great!

Any concerns with corrosion at the lift points when leaving the lift pads secured to the pinch weld locations? Seems like a recipe for holding road debris. Maybe it's just an area to remember to hit with the hose when washing the car.

I ordered a set to keep on the car for shops to use when lifting, mostly my dealer when needed, or when having tires replaced. And the lift pads provide a place for me to place jack stands and protect the pinch weld spots. My other cars have a piece of folded steel under the pinch weld to rest in a stand which improves confidence. The lack of that is interesting. Using a third point to actually lift the car is a good idea, but i'll want some sort of pinch weld lift pad in that location also, one that wouldn't remain on the car.

Naw... here's what they'll look like* in all their unwashed glory (yes that pebble is stuck in the x-brace, not the lift point). The lift points are not really debris catchers. On the other hand, if you want something to keep you awake at night worrying about road debris, there's always that plastic tray around the trans cooler ...

* this is a convertible which has the thicker outer rocker panel so the puck is cut down on the outboard side.

Hello from Aussie.
I've seen ZL1 Addons Lift Pads, can see how they work, & think they're a good idea. Some Aussie GM cars have had pinch welds in a similar spot!!....and have suffered jack damage when lifting. So I know how they work.
But what is a "Mag Puck"?....is it a round piece of flat rubber that sits on top of the jack to stop damage/slipping on the Addon lift point/gives additional clearance from jack to car body etc?
Thank you, Pickles.

Our 3" Jack MagPad™ fits all Gen 6th Gen Camaros and many other cars with a 3 inch pinch weld opening. WORKS GREAT WITH A LIFT!!

Each Jack MagPad™ for the 6th Gen Camaro comes with a MagPuck.

The premium magnetic jack pads are made to be used with a floor jack with a flat top and lift the car up by the pinch weld. If you have a older style or cupped floor jack we do make a adapter for that type jack, call for details. The pads will hold in place while positioning the floor jack or lift by the rare earth magnets. We installed a nylon bottom insert embedded with the two magnets for high hold strength. The Jack MagPad™ also has a red "remove before flight" streamer to warn of not leaving the pad on while driving. The Jack MagPad™ will work on most all cars with a 3 inch pinch weld opening.

2 pieces. The first piece is the lift block itself that has small magnets embedded in it to hold onto the pichweld, The second piece is a round puck that the lift block slides into while the round puck sits in/on the cup of your floor jack.

You can go to the ZL1 addons web site yourself and see.
