Has power everywhere and would be a drivers race with a 6.2L LT1 powered Camaro. The 6.4L is a fantastic engine, just a shame it’ll never be used in a vehicle under 4,000lb’s.
I’ve encountered several 6.4 liter hemis in both Challengers and Chargers. From a dig with my M6 I’ve pulled away from every one of them. Got the jump off the line and then an ever increasing gap. Having said that I could see an inexperienced driver in a Camaro not getting the jump and having to play catch-up.

Once you introduce turns it’s game over. I got a chuckle out of a SuperBee trying to hang through the first turn of an S then hammering the brakes as body roll and understeer grabbed him in the second turn.

6.2 is different from the 6.4.

Excuse me. The 392 6.4 liter. I never really liked the switch to liters. I think in CIs.

The only Hemi I’ve had pull away was a Hellcat, and it was no contest.

Yep CI. 350, 305, 400, I relate to those more than 4.9, 5.0 5.7, 6.2.

I test drove a 2008 5.7 Charger when it was new and was impressed. Test drove a 2018 392 as well. Both great. 392 has real power. Man that 2018 felt huge though. Would only consider if I really needed the space, which I don’t.

I haven’t been tracking right since I got the Moderna shot yesterday. Vision is a bit fuzzy and thinking is too.

Thanks! Next I’ll imagine that Toyota and BMW collaborated on a sports car....

It seems the ZL1 and SS is overall a better car than the 392 or Hellcat. SS better than Scat Pack and ZL1 over the Hellcat.

The problem with a normal Scat (I owned one) is that they can't get the power they have to the ground. I broke my rear wheels loose at 75mph one night because I may have had a bit of road rage. Now, give them the wide body and the power to ground is a lot better. I was looking for one before getting my Camaro and I couldn't find a wide body with the options I wanted, and it was almost 4 months to order. So I chose to go used Camaro and get a car I wanted, not that I settled for....

Here at the M1 Racetrack all they use are Chargers, Challengers and Vipers for driver training.

I think the LE is overall a better car than a ScatPack.

Just saw this on my hometown's local news website. The area this happened in isn't a very good area of Stl County to be in. It's pretty ghetto. Why I bring the article up is how the chief talks about speeding Challengers in the area being a problem.

Why does it seem in bad areas of a lot of cities Challengers seem to be a very popular car? Not trying to stereotype people but it seems in ghetto areas Challengers seem to be popular and their drivers are idiots as well from lots of videos from the hood I've seen.

Also, the area this incident happened how the heck do they afford to buy 392s and Hellcats?

I haven't been in St. Louis for 6 years but I do remember in the hood I'd see a lot of 300s, Chargers and Challengers.
