About 10 months ago my 2019 rs v6 had the same symptoms as yours, felt like it was in snow/ ice mode and it had a more mellow exhaust note. Luckily it should be a simple fix at the dealership if your problems which sound exactly like mine were. Dealership did a software upgrade to the tcm and that solve the problem.
