I have an m6 SS, would I be able to swap a lsd from a i4/v6 manual into my car without much modifications? Diff went out and am planning on selling the car anyways, just want a cheaper replacement than a SS lsd to get the car moving.

Just wanted to pop in here, and say that the 3.73:1 LSD is a great upgrade for the V6 1LE. It's hard to find the 3.73:1 w/ cooler but other than that it's straight plug and play (you need to swap in your axle stubs though). Makes the gearing basically perfect (2nd gear goes to around ~62 mph).

Yep, makes gearing basically perfect for a much lower torque, higher revving engine. Here's the speed in-gear with stock tires: 7,200 rpm stock redline, 3.27:1 (ew):
