Depends on where u live. Here in central Texas they r everywhere! And now the rut (mating season) is beginning... boys chasing girls across busy roads. I literally have lost count on how many my husband has hit. Two only 4 months apart in his current vehicle and numerous others, some while out patrolling on the night shift. I know for me it’s just a matter of time.

At least FL does not have them to worry about hitting.

Lulz. My real guess would have been 8,000 though, so, hat's off to you, sir!

I think I might take avoiding deer over Florida drivers...

You are correct, to a point.

I just pulled it out of my back side, so I’ll let it ride.

Definitely sucks, but here's your silver lining...

Once you get it back from the shop, it goes into storage and the paint should be able to fully cure while it sits. When it comes back out in the spring, that's the time to immediately get it in for a new coating and possibly even add PPF to the front.

I hate having paint work done on a DD unless it's the hottest time of the year when I can leave it baking in the sun as much as possible to get the paint fully cured.

Agreed!

FL is the only place that seems to have parking spaces actually wide enough to still fit full size trucks, 2 door coupes, etc. Must be because of the overall level of driving skill there...

Great observation and great suggestion regarding the installation of PPF next Spring.
