I ordered mine with NPP, upgraded radio screen, no trunk spoiler. I like the cleaner look because it reminds me of the 80’s when you could get a mustang lx with 5.0 or a base regal with turbo powertrain. I had owned both of those cars before and wanted a similar look. Nothing wrong with an SS if thats what someone wants. I don’t worry about what someone else likes because it’s not for them, its for me. Most folks these days can’t wipe their butt without asking someone else what type of tp should they use. If everyone bought the same thing then you wouldn’t have a lot of the oddball option muscle cars from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s that bring big $$$ these days.

Some like that but when you look at how many people dress up their cars, I would think the majority of people wouldn't be into it for the sleeper look.

You might be right, and while it's not for me based on that standpoint alone, it is a nice option in the line up. A great way to get the V8 motor even at the cost of all else.

I think the LT V8 option is awesome. I actually can’t believe they don’t sell.

Knew what it would look like exterior wise since it’s just a RS with a hood vent, what I didn’t think of for some reason is it having the RS badging

Looks awesome to me.

Would consider getting one if I didn't already have a Mustang GT

I like the refresh look overall much better now. Even the smiley grill looks alright if the DRLs are on. Its worlds better than the Dodgey lights on the SS.

The tail lights I thought I would never like actually do look better than the old ones. They just look more functional if that makes any sense.

Too much black plastic below the headlights.

I agree. The older style headlights were way better in my opinion, but the new ones are fine. I do like the rear lights better on the new ones though!

I wish the 2021's would have went with a full hatch back though, like 3rd and 4th gens.

Big trunk with tiny opening == stupid.
Not stupid IMO, but less useful. What you get in return is great sports car level handling. But the current Camaro is like owning a Corvette, it is good to have a daily. My 2011 Rav4 V6 can carry 4 wheels and tires, tow a boat, and take me anywhere in almost any weather. I paid $9K for it and all I do is change the oil.

And it ran high 14s at Atco with a killer 60'.

But to be fair I liked the hatch too. I will trade that for more fun driving.

The more I really look at it, the more it shows to be what it really is. Basically an RS with an LT1 badging slapped on it, hood extractor, and SS stuff (V8, SS suspension).

However, I thought I'd show you guys what the car looks like in a darker color before I decide that this thread served its purpose.
