I have family who live in Chandler AZ about 5 miles away from the Bondurant driving school. I go out every January to see them and go to Barrett-Jackson and all the other auctions around Scottsdale, and for the last few years I've been contemplating sigining up for the class. I just may do it now after watching this.

I saw in the older video you were < 110 before the kink, and making maximum g's at ~100 ... and on this one where you spun out, you were a bit faster.

Most importantly I am glad you are safe and were smart enough to get track insurance. I hate that this happened to you. I have seen your videos and consider you a talented driver, we are all human and therefore we will eventually make mistakes. Don't beat yourself up. When driving on the track damaging/destroying your car is always a possibility not only from driver error (yourself or another driver) but debris/fluid on the track as well as nature (turtles, ground hog ect) can also take you out. I know you loved your car, you can get another 1LE or any other car you prefer. Thank you for your information about hagerty, I use RLI insurance as well so good to know about them not open on the weekend, which by the way seems ridiculous for a company that provides track day insurance. You will get another ride and be back out there

I am like you, my camaro is a track toy and don't have the luxury of a truck/trailer. I love my camaro and plan to never get rid of it. I can tell you are attached to yours. I would say try to find a used 17 or 18, maybe you want a new one but you can't beat the value performance of the 1LE in my opinion. Besides there will be zero learning curve lol.
