If you're referring to the interior spectrum lighting and the ability to turn that off then yes, I've not only read my owners manual but I've done it also. However I am not referring to the spectrum lighting as my issue. I'm referring to the courtesy light that shines on the shifter. I'm aware that I can turn the whole system off but you cannot turn just that courtesy light off while leaving spectrum lighting on.

It's not that big of a deal. No need to belittle people. If the white lights behind the screen bothered me that much id of googled how to remove it and done it years ago. I was just merely agreeing with others. I see you've offered a solution and opinion, neither of which I asked for. A little presumptuous of you.
