I know my ZL1 or my Caddy V I have no lag what so ever I punch it and it is there. If I buy these little MODs what will I gain? I don't mind spending just like to get what I pay for. And a little proof. So far I just read post with nothing to really see after a few months or miles driven. A log or something to show would solve this question. Not trying to be smart just question. I am just a old man feeling young. HP runs in my veins.
Here's the data for our product for your car, these you can check at any time, but you'll need the right equipment. The blue area will be there all the time, whether stock or not, it is hard to miss with or without equipment. The rest will depend on your modifications/setup.

I'm the OP here and I've certainly had some questions and disappointments. However, I have to give a huge thanks to Mike and Soler. He has personally addressed my concerns about my TB and I look forward to seeing the results! There are few companies out there that care about the customer after the sale, and even fewer that are willing to make sure the customer is happy. I have to say, Soler might have the best customer service I've ever encountered in a long time. It's good to know that there are still companies out there that want the customer to be happy. I've dealt with plenty that could care less.

Let me echo this sentiment to a hundred percent. Mike makes you feel as though you were members of one team, and it just so happens that his company worked on the product and you are supplying the funding, but essentially you're part of the same crew. Before sale or after, there is no difference in response time and helpfulness.

Kudos to Mike not only for an excellent product (although I only have the throttle body and can't speak for the controller, I'm sure it's a quality item as well) but also the stellar customer service—the rare kind that makes you want to go back and buy whatever the company is selling just so you can experience it again. It is that good.

Would it be better with a tune? Of course it would. Did it revert to stock? NO. You will see benefit with mods but not as much as you would if you add a tune after the mods.
If you are the type that’s very hard to please and super nit picky about everything, I’d recommend just leaving it stock.
That's why I will just have it tune save money and still have the same seat of the pants feel and know for sure I am not wasting money. Seeing is believing.
Before and after>>Proof is fact I like to see before and after which I have not seen.????? Just here say. I am picky about wasting $$$$

If you aren’t opposed to getting it tuned, that’s definitely the way to go. You’ll get max benefit of all your mods.

So I been reading for a while now about the soler Tb / TC and everyone pretty much loves it. But my question for Mike or if someone else would like to chime in. Is it better to get a 103 TB and tune or go with Soler?

My understanding is the Soler TB/TC sounds like a solution for someone that doesn't want to get a tune? I'm a little confused?

Or will the Solar TB/TC with tune perform better then a 103 Nick or Katech with a tune ?

After all the trials and tribulations I went through in the past with Terminator Cobra mods, I'm a big believer in tunes. I used Dyno Steve from RDP for the tune to complement the Soler TB and TC. Between Steve and Mike, I have full confidence in the hardware and software...

Soler TB and TC cause be used without a tune to maintain Warranty. Tuning your car will 100% void your warranty.

The reason I was asking is because I'm trying to make my mod list and I really dont wont to tune just yet until I have all the parts together.

So I'm trying to see if I get the Soler TB/TC and later down the road I do my build I can use the Solar TB/TC instead of buying a 103 Katech or Nick.

I have an entire fleet of vehicles that we've retuned for speed control and either performance or economy based on police or non-police. All warranties are good to go, Chevrolet or Ford. The Magnuson Moss Act prohibits them from voiding a warranty unless the mod is proven to have been the culprit in a malfunction or breakdown. I've taken my Camaro to the dealership a couple of times, for the shudder and the steering recall, no mention of the tune or problems and I told them it was retuned...

I would assume that unless you blow your motor up they are not going to look to see if it was tuned.

Dealerships being “cool” with your mods and not voiding your warranty are the exception and not the rule. My sons car had the warranty voided due to mods, including his tune.

Multiple forum members of my last brand (Viper) had warranties voided on new cars that spun bearings (a known manufacturer defect) because they had tunes installed. They got stuck with thousands of $$$ bills.

Do not listen to people who argue that Moss/Manguson Act will protect you. It won’t. I’ve seen people who said that exactly get stuck with the bill. If you mod (especially with a tune) they can void your warranty and you will lose in court.

To add to this, even if the dealer approves it, if they send a Ford regional tech/rep out to dig in further, Ford can deny the dealer's warranty approved claim. They will absolutely check, esp on these expensive motors and trannys. Be forewarned.
