In the end, the V8 is a better package. Your solution was actually discussed for the Corvette back in the day for FE. The decision was, your TT V6 is wildly more expensive, gets no more HP and the FE in the real world for turbos frankly sucks. So it lost on basically every measure.

As for you blowing a lot of money on this and having better calibration and boost options? Buy a Super Charger for an SS and you'll be way ahead for a LOT less money.

Your proposed project would only have value to you for being special and likely 1 off.

Exactly. The fuel economy #s for the ATS-V are actually worse than the Camaro SS based on the window sticker and real world likely would be even worse.

I love the ATS-V and wish GM had put the LT1 in it! Or better yet, use the ATS-V / Alpha platform as a replacement Chevrolet SS and use the Camaro powertrain!
