Got mine with windshield tinted. I hate it, and plan to remove it... eventually

I gotta say. It looks amazing. Also if you dont mind me asking, why do you hate it? and are you plan on keeping just the sides ones? Also, what percent tints are those.

In the bright summer sun of Florida, the car is amazingly cool, literally and figuratively. Problem is, I can't see well at night. Also, I have to roll down the windows every time I see a cop (side windows are not legal either).

Not only that, the windshield job wasn't perfect and since its at an angle, it's not 100% clear. You can see imperfections in the film.

What was the perfect on your sides and windshield? Also what do you plan on keeping just side tints?

I got Air70 on mine. I wanted Air90 but they didn't have it.

50 front, 20 sides. i live in indiana, never had any trouble with tint. i was concerned with uv rays destroying the dash and upper door panels. the front isn’t very dark at all, barely noticeable from outside unless it’s overcast.

Nah, too dark all around. I'l be re-doing the whole thing. The Camaro is unique in having very little window area to begin with. Even FL legal (28%) makes the desired effect and looks dark. I use a window shade anyways, whenever I park.

Any bad accident I get into (none since the 90's, knock knock ) the cops will look at window tint, then administer a sobriety test. Its too easy to get blamed for something not your fault. Front windshield tint is just a stupid way to drive around, imho.

Florida legal:
Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 28% of light in.
Back Side windows: Must allow more than 15% of light in.
Rear Window: Must allow more than 15% of light in.

That actually looks amazing. Could you send some more pics, I might actually just do 50 instead of 35 then haha

It had its upsides and downsides I suppose

Damn, I thought 50% wouldnt even make that much difference but it seems it does. Looks much better! You might have just convinced me to do the same exact thing and go with 50 instead of planned 35 in the front haha
