To each their own, but I still think in 99% of scenarios, the 2020 front end will be more palatable. I think the 2019 SS front end is passable if either:

- The car is black
- The car has a 1LE package to balance out the bumper blackout more
- The lighting is right

To the 2nd and 3rd point, the below picture became the top post on Reddit's r/Camaro this week because it actually is a damn nice looking car and was taken in good lighting. I see a lot of people in these forums taking photos of their cars in the shade, on overcast days, in winter, etc., and the bumper blackout is extremely unforgiving in anything but optimal conditions to give it some depth and reflectivity.

Me, I went and bought my 2019 after seeing the 2018's and 2019's side by side, in person. No comparison on which is more aggressive looking. After seeing the pics of " The Pacifier", the 2019 still is better looking.

Let's see how many of you guys posting, actually go and put your money where your mouth is, and purchase a 2020.

You left out automotive journalists dude...they also really hate ‘19s. Old mags, new sites, consensus is the predator-faced SS was an unmitigated styling disaster. But don’t let it get you down bro, I’m sure there’s some people who still defend the Pontiac Aztec to this day, so you’ll always find some people who like your ride

As a stand alone feature on the 2019 Camaro, there is nothing wrong with the front end having the bumper painted black. What is wrong though, is that it is a similar look that numerous makes and models all have across the spectrum. The Camaro should never have adopted this generic look that everything from a KIA to a Dodge Hemi and many in between all have. It is a watered down and overused feature that blands out the Camaro.

Easy enough to remedy, or not. If I had one, I'd leave it alone. To re-work your own personal car to look like a 2020 would be sort of cheesey. Leave it alone and enjoy it.

Glad you like yours, enjoy. It seems like a majority of the minority here dislike it, as well as a majority of the people in the real world.

Much better when the incentives were on, which tells me it is not so much about the looks but the perceived value of the car.

Sorry, I just had too.

Some "corporate" faces just don't work. It just seems ridiculous that brands keep forcing looks on cars that weren't designed or proportioned for it.

Oh and that above, highly ranked picture, cuts off the flowtie, which is half(or more) of the complaints.

Taken from CarBuzz,,In the first nine months of 2018 in the US, Camaro sales have fallen around 26 percent to a total of 39,828 units.
Its been nothing but downhill since the 6th gen came out and the refresh redo is just a small part of the story .

As far as modifying a 2019 to a 2020, we're just talking about the front bumper cover, right? A 2019 owner is a fender bender away from a 2020 front end if they so choose in that situation. Not sure what i'd do, but i do like the 2019 front bumper.

To dated i have seen 3 2019 SS's. And about 5 LT's. No lots around be have any SS's they all have LT's and its not because they are selling its because no one wants it. Thats what the dealer told me when i asked if they had any. They can order one if i want but they dont have any one the lot because people dont like them. He said since 2019's came out they cant keep prerefresh SS's on the lot. They had a fifty come in and the next day it was sold. They had a red 2017 sold before they even got the car on the lot.

I still dont like the 2020. Its less of an eye sore but still an eye sore. I do like the move to offer the LT with the LT1. So nw you can get the less ugly LT front bumper. Personally i would rather have the LT's front end on the SS.

2019 SS was a huge mistake. GM admitted this fast. The "Fix" is less ugly but still something i would only get in black to hide. Im not the market i'll be getting a 2020 ZL1 but if i was looking for an SS i would just go with the LT and get the V8 so i dont have to hide it. The SS is still pretty hit in the front end. Better but they just put makeup on the fat girl.

Lol, literally nothing to do with the thread at hand. Some dude said he liked ‘19s better than ‘20s, aesthetically. Whatever, his opinion. A butthurt ‘19 owner spilled his pain, called everyone who didn’t like it crybabies, and said it’s a “minority on this forum”. I cited automotive press, new and old, pointing out the obvious, it looks terrible, and a poll showing 93%+ don’t think the ‘19 looks better and your counter is...sales.

Hmm, could it be the Mustang got better? That they’re running crazy incentives on the Challenger? That cars and muscle car sales are down as a whole? Nah, just that the 6th gen suddenly became ugly, and this refresh was so great that GM stopped making it after one year and cited “listening to customers” in their press release. I guess it was just too beautiful to continue making...
