Thanks for all the help guys, I actually did end up going to the dealership and they told me that it was a purge valve not doing it’s job. They said they’ll replace it and I’m all good to go. Anyone else experience something wrong with the purge valve?

Good to hear!
Those purge valves are usually solenoids, and can be sticky on any car. Usually they come from a company that specializes in emissions control equipment (like Pierburg). GM probably doesn't make their own.
