Check adamsforums.com for application tips. According to some of the posts there, the protectant has been “out of stock” for a few months - but I didn’t see anything about it coming back.

Amazon often has products in stock for months after their manufacturers quit manufacturing them, although in this case it says the protectant will be shipped from Adams.

I used Chemical Guys V38 and went by hand with an applicator pad. Then went over the hood with Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte. Turned out great.
