The stock ZL1 exhaust is loud to everyone but those inside the cabin. Any louder and you’re just seeking attention. Lol.

With just owning a ZL1 we are seeking attention. This car is an attention magnet even at Atco. A little more can't hurt.

I remember when I was in high school people put "glass packs" on their cars to just make them louder with nothing really in the way of performance increase. For me, making it louder just to be louder is nothing unless HP comes with it. That's what GT350 fan boys say, that's why they like the GT350 better only because it "sounds" better, not that it performs better.
Statements like that sounds like high school boys.

I didn't want to butcher the stock exhaust and I didn't want it to be too loud. My setup is perfect for me. I can reset to stock without any harm done, it's loud enough for me, gets a few more looks, and sounds great when just playing around. Headers + No cats + Stock NPP would be louder, and I doubt I could handle that in track mode 100% of the time. Headers into Corsa? You'd be deaf on cold start. I don't think it's "silly" to put a cat-back on this car. If you like yours stock, then don't touch it. But no need to tell other people they shouldn't touch theirs either. |

The ZL1 sound is way to quiet. I had a 2013 CTS-V with Corsa axelbacks and it was about twice a loud as this car. The only time my ZL1 sound loud to me is at startup for about 6 seconds, then a WOT. Otherwise its as quiet as my wife's SUV.

Get a GT Haus catback and you can fix the hell out of that "quiet" issue.

I 100% agree with this. My 2012 CTS-V with just a Billy Boat catback was much louder than my ZL1.
