Very true! Would a good DR fit on the stock rim? I realize it’s not ideal...

If you're lucky or good, you can run low 11's thru the factory exhaust manifolds and cats. That should max out the budget with those mods. Don't cheap out on the tuning, these cars are finicky and they run great when dialed in correctly.
Excellent and thank you. Just have to find a reputable tuner

You didn't say.

I would pass on the headers....that's an easy $1000 right there or more.
Rather buy some new rubber.
1/4mi only and I’m beginning to think the same thing

If you get the blower then later small stuff wont really matter cause you would need a fuel system and forged internals before hand so this is the best bang for buck cause all the bolt ons available wont net you what you can get here and when you get to that level you'll be 10k plus in it. Just food for thought brother.
That’s very interesting and def something to think about. Thanks man

Thanks to all for the input. I’ll be going with the Roto-Fab CAI, LT’s, cat delete & tune. I think with that and some good DR’s even on stock rims, I should get into the 11’s.

Thanks again guys for all your suggestions!

Check out Fasterproms in Tampa. They did my tune and I have a year and a half on it with zero issues. I run E85 from a RaceTrak pump nearly all the time. I didn't disable AFM, though, and I may do that if I decide to go headers and a street tune through them again.

Will def keep that in mind. We have a few decent tuners in Ocala that I plan to look into when the time comes

Mickey Thompson et street SS will be best on a 20. But they won’t last at all on a daily driver. Few thousand miles if youre lucky imo. nt555r will last a little longer but they are nothing special

Thanks Ultra. Back in the day, BFG made a decent DR. I’ll look into those as well

The Nittos are a much better driving tire imo. I see Mickey's that need 12 oz plus weight to balance. I chased a vibration in my 4th gen for almost 2 years that ended up being a bad MT Dr. I'm pretty much done with them for a street car. However they do hook good...better then Nittos for sure

Yeah

I’m guessing the nitto nt05 r might be the best middle ground for him for daily driving, mileage and traction. Not sure what sizes they offer

Thanks guys. They have the Nitto nt05 in discount tire direct at the stock rear tire size. Might be worth a try.

I believe a regular nt05 is a normal street tire. The R is a DR
