IKON has a bad reputation for being cheap. From the people who have had the IKON louvers, they say they rattle like crazy because the middle section hits the window. The AA ones dont even come close. I had to do some extra tape around the edges to keep mine from rattling, but only because i have an obnoxious exhaust. I think the AA ones look better.

The IKON ones have more "fins" than the AA louvers as well.

From what I understand, and this is here-say since I've never owned the IKON louvers, but from friends who have had both. Apparently the IKON louver as Whiskey mentioned, has one more louver fin than the American Authority set. This reduces rear visibility by that much more. Also the IKON louvers are made thinner and softer. At highway speeds, this thinner material allows the louvers to rattle against the back glass, especially towards the middle section.

Hope that helps.

my louvers today, either I must have got a bad unit or something because the louvers are horrible.
Literally look like I cut them out with a box opener myself.

I reached out to them waiting for a reply, but what a buzzkill way to start the day lol.

Sorry for the pictures, for some reason this forum only likes landscape aspect ratio.

Wow, that's not good. I am looking to get mine painted and if I have the same issues I think I will have the paint shop try to correct it. Hopefully you get this resolved soon.

Has to be a bad unit, unfortunately :/ Just got mine today and installed immediately. AA is really good about taking care of its customers. I say that out from personal experience. Here’s mine (sorry it’s dirty, I was too excited to wash it lol):

Nice! Looking good. I got mine yesterday but wont be able to install for another 2 months. I have a few parts that need to go on. Skip shift eliminator, ZL1 addon rock guards, LED side markers, LED reverse bulbs, dash kit and this. Going to get it paint corrected and ceramic coated first. After all of this I still have to run down a winter wheel/tire set.

Its not by choice. Currently in Germany and I move back stateside here in a few weeks. I had all these parts shipped to my parents so that they will be waiting on me when I arrive. Should be a nice mod day when I do everything. Now I just have to talk my parents into dropping my car off at a place that does paint correction and ceramic coatings.
