When I first found this site it was guys like that scared the crap out of me and made me not want to participate. It was guys like you that made me want to stick around, enjoy the comradery and learn about our cars. My thanks to you Sledgehammer70. And by the way, very elegant, and respectful response to those comments.

He mad.

Calling Matt out for what he does with his car and his videos has to be one of the pettiest things I've seen on this board yet.

Grats on being a douche.

Yea. I've enjoyed your videos as well. Don't feel ashamed for making any money that you do or getting free products. There's nothing wrong earning a little bread for doing something you like to do.

Matt,

I am subscribed to your channel and have been for a while. The content you provide has helped me out multiple times with either an installation or decision on parts. As you can see from the forum comments, many others enjoy your channel content as well. Best wishes to you and your family!

If you want to contribute selflessly, how about including a quick write up with your video like everyone else. instead Of basically making ppl watch them

Maybe then it will stop pissing ppl off? And show you're not view count whoring?

Can you explain why you think the dss shaft is superior to the GeForce?

Longtime follower of Matt’s build on Camaro6 fourm and his YouTube channel.

My take away from this post both in positive and negative comments from the lovers and haters on this fourm

First Matt’s info of his build with adding different parts and mods is great and I have used his info to my advantage when I pick and chose which parts to add to my build. Does Matt make all the best choices, no! Do I make all the right choices, hell no.

I honestly did cringe when I saw that video of you sticking you head under your rotor, jacked up properly you should still avoid it. With that said we all have to be careful when us garage mod monkeys jack up our cars.

Matt’s channel is one of my favourite channels, he tries to his own work when possible and explains it very good. He has a wide variety of videos which have a different degree of rating from poor to excellent. I did feel his channel context took a turn to the worse the after he visited “Nick”. Don’t be like Nick, he is the whore of greed and his channel is all about him. Matt’s channel is about info and the Camaro community.

Matt keep those videos coming and don’t feel that you just have to push up a video to satisfy your audience. We want info and knowledge, not a live style of Nick and Mike. There is nothing wrong with posting info here on the fourm and directly people to your YouTube channel. If your that narrow minded just don’t click on Matt’s posts, it’s a simple as that unless your a professional hater and live life with I hate the world attitude.

As some of you may know I have been building my car for a better part of 2 years, I have watched a lot of builds cruise into the 900+ rwhp realm with the stock driveshaft... when they shouldn't have been able too. Kudos to GM for making a pretty good product. But this weekend mine gave up the ghost.

I was at Famoso Raceway trying to get familiar with my new converter and was pushing the car at levels I never have before. I never had a clean launch, and my 3rd run exposed a weird vibration. Nothing that caused a CEL, but the 4th run revealed the issue... the stock driveshaft snapped.

I have seen and heard guys with only bolt-ons snap the stock offering and have seen guys at 900+ rwhp running just fine. I guess I got the Friday driveshaft

If you want to hear a driveshaft snap, check out the below video at around 19:39-minute mark for the setup.

Moral of the story, don't hope they will hold, plan your build to know it will hold
Ummm.... did I not do that in this thread?...

The only aftermarket driveshaft I'd heard of breaking (so far) in a 6th Gen was a DSS btw
X2 on what this came out of. As I mentioned earlier, I’m yet to hear of any gForce driveshafts go. Which is why I picked this brand. I’m curious just to what you have learned and seen on these.

Another post in support of Matt. He is one of the last guys I would expect people giving negative feedback. Oh well, can’t win them all. Thanks for all you do, Matt!
