As much as you might be against it, meth is a very good option for these engines. Lower IATs, increase octane, and take some load off the fuel system (only if needed). I've had meth systems on my last 3 LS builds. Zero issues...though I'll add that I do my own installs and am meticulous with wiring and attention to detail.
That said, did you read that thread I linked? I thought those were impressive gains with just a Heartbeat blower and meth. Stock manifolds and airbox even. If you're set against meth injection, have you considered running something like E30 or E40? |

That Z06 with the Magnuson made 630 WHP on a Mustang dyno with 91 octane on an otherwise stock engine. I'm thinking that would be close to the OP's goal on 93 octane (maybe add some Torco?) on a Dynojet. Octane is so big though. I know a semi local guy who picked up something like 70 rwhp on a stock C7Z by just adding Torco to our 91 octane. It was pulling that much timing stock. |

Looks like Lingenfelter is getting around 800 bhp with an E-force supercharger on their ZL1 and Z06.
http://www.hotrod.com/articles/drag-...er-chevrolets/ Couldn't find the info on the ZL1, but here's the propaganda on the Z06. Looks like 680ish at the wheels on a built engine. http://www.lingenfelter.com/product/L010995115.html This data seems to fall in line with everyone else's comments on fueling. |

Just saw this last night. ZL1 vs a modded Hellcat. They did quite a few pulls, and the ZL1 never really heat soaked or anything, so it seems like they did a pretty damn good job at keeping this car cool, in stock form. It stayed cool while the Hellcat started to heat soak. Not completely sure what was done to the Hellcat, but I'm sure part of it heat soaking has to do with the modifications (spinning the blower faster).
As long as you don't increase the boost in the ZL1 with the stock blower, it'll probably stay more or less like this. |

I've watched several videos made by the Hellcat owner. I know for sure he has drag radials, a CAI, exhaust work, and a lower rear gear. I'm pretty sure he has a pulley, but can't say for sure about that one.
