Is that confirmed. From the pictures, it looks like there's no way the wing is going to flex that much. It wouldn't do much good if that were the case.

I'm sure it had more to do with the idea of ZL1 1LE being a track focused over looks focused car, so GM had little incentive to offer a less functional wing.

I personally think based on looks alone this prototype wing looks perfect. The production ZL1 1LE wing appears overdone and extreme even though its function may be ideal. I am on board for a replica version of this prototype if an aftermarket source produces it.

C7 Carbon is taking pre-orders now on a lower Zl1 1LE style wing.

Hop into that thread and tell them. They are making adjustments to design based off of our feedback.

It's not my place to tell them in their own thread that their product isn't for me when I like 6LE's wing more anyways.

I think that their low price doesn't justify the high number of design flaws and inconsistencies (to my taste).

Here's the 6LE wing for reference: http://6ledesigns.com/product/2016-c...-carbon-fiber/

You guys would actually put this thing on your non-track driven, non-1LE??

Yes! Surprisingly enough, the Camaro (or any car for that matter) serves more than one purpose, none of which is better than any other, and entirely up to the car owner.

I have a ton of respect for you as a race driver (if that's what you do), and for people who modify their cars in ways that I would never do myself (seeing how much horsepower I could muster or over-the-top wraps and paint jobs to name a few).

Hopefully that can be reciprocated and we can all appreciate the camaraderie that comes along with bearing cars of the same name.

6LE is running a 30% off sale through Monday.

The real piece was put higher for function and optimum airflow/downforce. The low one was a prototype only - tested, and then relocated. With that in mind, I'm not not a fan of non-functional, non-engineered wings...it's sort of what gave the wing a bad name in the first place. And that's what an aftermarket copy of this is.

But, to each-their own. And I hope whoever buys it is happy with the appearance!

I can't tell from their site, is the 6LE wing lower than the factory one? I'm not seeking one for aesthetics, but for purpose.
