Can I ask, what did you do on the Matte parts (hood, mirrors, rockers, etc.) for PPF and/or ceramic? Did you coat the dive plans/splitter/etc.??

Also, did you do the wheels and calipers with ceramic? And if so, happy with that?

I'm having PPF and Ceramic applied soon - NEXT WEEK I HOPE! - and am trying to get some advice on what and how to do it.

Thanks. Enjoy the spectacular ride!
Thanks, it's been great and looks great. Loving it. Anyway, I didn't do any wrap (PPF) on the matte parts. I figured they were less at risk of getting damaged, and if they do get damaged, then it would have to be something big enough that PPF wouldn't protect anyway. I only chose to do PPF on the the most vulnerable areas. The guys that did my work were legit. They said they could certainly do the whole car PPF, but they felt it wasn't necessary. However, everything did get the ceramic treatment. I honestly don't know how well ceramic coating actually sticks to vinyl wraps or plastic parts. I also did the wheels and calipers. The ceramic make its easier to clean the brake dust by just using a high pressure wash at the car wash on them. As long as you are comfortable with the guys doing your work are great installers, then you won't be disappointed.

BTW, congrats on your incoming car. You're gonna love her.
