All you have to do is look at the Nuremburg times. For the most part, the exotic cars are not crushing the newer Camaros. (other than the hybrids) Even listen to the guys at motor trend. I would assume, at least with some of the exotic cars, it is very a different experience.

What I will say about the ZL1 is that for someone of some means, well, they do not necessarily have to be as worried about dinging it as compared to that GT! While I certainly cannot afford to be flippant about what we paid for our cars if you think about it, the ZL1 represents a great way to be capable of driving fast without worrying about breaking the bank (for some) should you make a mistake. If I were driving the GT then I too would be somewhat hesitant about pushing the limits out of fear of putting it off course.

Either way props to the driver in the ZL1, he was getting it and made her look reeaaal good!
Do you know the skill level of these 2 drivers?

This man's ZL1 may mean way more to him than the owner of the GT. I know it would break my heart to wreck either of mine!

To be fair, the driver of the Ford GT had no idea what he was doing on a track, and the ZL1 driver definitely did
I imagine it would be a bit of a different story with equal drivers in each. None the less, cool video!

*Opinion Alert* All this mushy gushy praise for a half million dollar Blue Oval Eco Boost V6 that SLIGHTLY (by virtue of weight) edges out a 60k dollar mass produced assembly line car. Call me crazy, but there is way more praise due to the engineers at Chevy pulling performance like this out of a parts bin.

Oh, it would break my heart to wreck mine as well! But I am pretty sure that it would be substantially easier for me to replace the ZL1 than it would be the FGT if I were to wad either of the two up...

Bingo. From watching the video, there's no question that the GT is a faster car, it's just that the ZL1 guy was driving harder.

Acr is 5.5 - 6 seconds faster on same course.

That is you! Can you even afford a 500,000.00 car ? My guess is the people tha can will be less likely to think it's the end of the world if they wreck it. It's all relative I guess. If your scared to wreck it it's probably a bad idea to put it on the track!
