I see a few options on the EFI site, but they also include a disclaimer that you need the HPTuners software which is an additional $500. Is it really $1.2k to get a E85 tune?

I see you are in Orlando. I live in Mt. Dora. I could save you the cost of HP Tuners and wideband.

Thanks Tim, Sounds like my guys here will have me fixed up later this week, but this should be a great seller for you. The Caddys and ZO6 cars love the flex sensors.

I will say HP Tuners is pretty stingy on the LT4. Four credits for just engine and must be done car by car. No model year purchases either. Then another bunch of credits for the tranny.

I do think HP Tuners deserves compensation for their hard work but yes the 2017+ credit situation is less than ideal.

I seen you mentioned needing fuel upgrades when doing h/c setup with full bolt ons and e85, would the +32 fuel lobe option on the cams be enough or is there more needed to support?

I think it will depend on the torque output and RPM range the cam will cover. The injection window starts to get very short. Will the lobe be enough? I don't know.

Are you ensuring there is no 93 in tank, it takes me about three fill ups to reach abot 77 percent. Btw I'm full bolt on and cam to guy who asked about fuel upgrades. My fuel system is stock.

I want to install the E85 conversion, can I run 93 and E85? Keep in mind that I will have 2 x tunes, 93 and 85. I am running the LT4 blower, cam, headers,...the additional HP on the E85 is crazy from the cars that have converted. Maybe a small tank for E85, I only want to run 85 at the strip. Thanks for the info.

...and I do agree. It just hit me by surprise when I burned 4 credits on a buddies tune just so we could mail it to his tuner for a fix.

You won't need 2 tunes. Mix and match E85 and 93 all you want and the flex fuel sensor will detect the level of E85 and compensate for you.

I hear ya... and we've already located E85 very close to the Host Hotel at CamaroFest VII.
