I spoke with a guy before when I was considering a GT350. He had bought a 2016 and sold it within the same week. Biggest reason was the profit he was making and the second reason was he said the car had no power under 4k.

Well worth it and you won't have same car with difft transmission

I drove the GT350 and it was difficult to ingress and egress, the clutch was sloppy, lacked power on the low end compared to the ZL1 and dealers were unwilling to negotiate from invoice, most were MSRP plus. I did find two dealers out of state for a grand below MSRP. Plus no HUD and no convertible. Dealer is looking for a ZL1 A10 coupe, we'll see what happens.

Yeah, the GT350 is kind of an acquired taste, a niche machine, if you don't like its features then you will be wondering what the hype is all about and won't be able to live with its compromises... but... if you get bitten by the bug then there is kinda no substitute out there...

I personally can't imagine paying the same or more for a GT350 than a ZL1. The lack of low end on the GT350 is a huge deal breaker right off the bat then you get into all the recalls for air bags, oil lines, and overheating. I don't want to have to run a performance car like a chainsaw to get the power. I want big balls whenever I stab the gas and don't care about all the 8,000 rpm crap. Leave that to the Boxsters and ricer mobiles.gl
