The elephant in the room in my opinion is also the power of oil. Do you think all these sheiks and oil tycoons would just let this technology decimate their cash cow? I'm sure one if the main reasons battery technology hasn't taken more market share is because they won't allow it. Oil generates a lot of money in this world. That's why cars like Teslas are still comoromises.
