It should say on the oil fill cap, right? I think it's 10 qt of 5W-30, the AC Delco Dexos brand.

I did this as well. I wouldn't recommend it.

Dealer FedEx'd the paperwork, signed, sent back. Once they had it nearly all communication stopped.... Then they moved my car on to the showroom floor, which I didn't like the idea of at first, BUT my thinking was I'd rather have it there than the employees putting miles on it. Dealer assured me it was locked up.... When I flew to Dallas to get it, showed up at the dealer to find two customers sitting in it, then one of the clowns gets out and starts running his hand down the side.... Unbelievable.

Most likely I'll be posting a thread in the near future about the downfalls of a certain dealer in the DFW area... The guy I dealt with won't return my E-mails, so I'm calling the main man this week to see if we can't get a rwsolution on a paint error I found right after leaving the dealership. And by paint error I mean a eight inch swirly made by a 2.5-3" buffing wheel right above the headlight...

Can I post a thread like that? Highlighting the pros and cons of my buying experience with a certain dealer? I've got this weird feeling they're not going to make this right...

Yea I never looked into those details yet. Just going off the 2 owners manuals which in my opinion aren't too informative compared to my last car.

I'm sorry to hear that. Jim glover in Oklahoma was absolutely amazing. My salesman locked the doors immediately after the deposit over the phone. Painless paperwork in person. No scratches.4 miles on the clock. I would do it all over again. All depends on dealer.

Fluid "brand" will always be GM/AC Delco in the owners manuals. They all have a GM part number attached to them. The ZL1 is included with the V8 recommendations for all fluids, and then the HP manual calls for the only ZL1 specific fluid, Dexron ULV for the A10.

So, anything in the regular owners manual that says V8 engines includes the LT4.
