I masked off the area with some painters tape and put three two 8 penny nails along the crack to open it up while I painted it with a black semi gloss paint stick pen. Nothing stands out now. You have to go up to the splitter, know its there, and start picking around with your fingernails.

Does it install similar to OEM? Rivets and 3M Tape?

Do not buy from extreme dimension. Their Duraflex products do not fit and you have to try drilling holes which still will not align with the bolts that go where the splitter is. I’m returning it back
