If we all bug need for speed motorsports for 19" in the MRR 017 ( that should weigh aprox 22-23 lbs) they might get off their butts and finally get them produced.... one of the biggest reasons for hesitating for me it that the stock OEM wheels LOOK SO DAMNED GOOD.

I tried to explain to them that alot of 1LE guys are looking for 19" rotary/flow forged wheels...while I'm sure theyre 20" are selling well They're missing out on a pretty good market....

Go bug him with PM in the wheel and tire forum

That's correct, only things that should have been in your trunk are the spoiler end caps and plastic suspension covers. Both of which should have been installed during PDI.

I'm checking out some 19" APEX wheels for my '14 1LE. I came across a feeler from them. They are looking to do some 19x11 wheels with a 44mm offset, which I think would play into the hands of you 6TH Gen 1LE guys as the OE rear offset is 45mm. Go here and fill out the survey. If they get enough feedback they may produce them.

Go to the "NEW F8X M3/M4 19X11" WHEEL"

https://www.apexraceparts.com/group-buys/

I'm interested in that offset also as I could use it on the rear of my '14 1LE with a spacer.

Being honest I like the Apex wheels, they have a good name & reliability in the BMW world..... I came from an e46 M3 track car daily'ed & stripped out lol

But they're wheels are so damn ugly! Jesus. Lightweight yes.. cost effective yes....

Only checkmark 2/3 for me probably sticking with TSW since the MRR 19's will be released in another 12 years

Well I managed to get the dealership to send me the "Tall Deflectors and Small Splash Guard" for free, to my house.

This is what I was talking about.

Yeah, you don't want to take your factory stuff off and put those on. You will get less cooling...the SS 1LE's have specific cooling items factory installed.

I don't see how that is correct. If you install the tall deflectors and small splash shield it would increase the amount of air flow to the backside of the brakes. What I have installed right now, the deflector is a 3rd the size and the splash guard is 3 times as big. The current configuration would cover more of the brake and force less air across them.

I didn't see the second page at first, just the image on the bottom right of page 199. That is what you don't want to add to your car...

But, according to Al O, the factory SS 1LE cooling set up is optimized for the car. It is what they used during the MT Best Drivers Car and CD Lightning Lap as well.

Also, it's nice not to have to swap back and forth as the other brake splash shields are not recommend for street use.
