I DON'T like the new ZL1's spoiler. Looks non-functional and fake. I like wings that are functional like the wing on my 15' Z/28 and the new 2018 ZL1-1LE-that wing looks good and is actually functional.

If you do not know, the new 2017 ZL1 wing is not functional.

Why would they put a non functional wing on a ZL1? I'm pretty sure it's functional and it does allow the A10 ZL1 to hit 200mph. The ZL1 1LE wing of course creates more downforce but the top speed will suffer.

I hate to give you the bad news but yes it is true. The new ZL1 wing is completley non-functional. 100% fake wing. Look how it sits on the trunk lid ... It is strickly a show piece. However the Z/28 and upcoming ZL1-1LE wings are very functional and actually makes the Car safer at speeds over 100 mph.

Why would every open wheel Race Car have a wing? Indy type Race Cars that cost millions of dollars to operate? Today's Formula One Race Cars are basically Fighter Jets on land.

I would love to get this thing, but if anything I would want to get it in either Garnet Red or the factory shinny Black. Guess I'll have to wait to see who else starts making them on the unofficial side. I got a 2014 z28 style wing off of eBay for 150 a few years ago when I had a 14ss.

Ugh I want this mod so damn bad... Pretty cost effective and looks amazing imo. I might do this when i finally get a chance to put my eibachs on.
