On the whole, knowing what you know from what testing you have done so far and the general feel of driving your car with the Roto-Fab on it, would you suggest buying the Roto-Fab now and knowing that it will be of even more use in the future when forced induction is installed, or waiting until that moment and sticking with the OEM setup for the time being? Have you noticed any mpg advantages? I drive around 20,000 miles a year, so if an mpg benefit can be proven then an induction kit pays for itself.
I simply haven't put in enough time with the Roto-Fab system in place to comment on gas mileage. My foot seems to stay heavy for a few weeks after a new install like this.

Overall from the seat of your pants feel. I want to believe the system is providing more power int he upper RPM ranges. Can it all be in my head? Probably. I will not know until I get the car on the dyno.

Overall I will be doing closed hood testing and bring back the other systems again to see how they fair in a cooler morning dyno day. Overall I think I have proven the ECU also doesn't need that much time to adjust. But again, will be looking at all factors once we get it on the dyno.

My new Vacuum meter has been fun to play with

Groovy, I look forward to seeing the results! Thanks again!

Do you have a way to log timing, KR, MAP, and actual AFR? These details will help sort out the "theories" as to why one didn't perform as expected.

MAF is only semi useful. You can't take the readings from the aftermarket CAIs and infer less or more air. The turbulence could cause higher/lower readings and the actual be the complete opposite.

Love your videos. I've been watching them for a few months now, even before I got mine.

Not familiar with 'H-rated', I take it I shouldn't Google that on a work network, given the common association? Lol I just now read that ecchi is apparently how the character for H is read in English, is that right? I'd only seen the term used a couple times in reference to the content of series.
I prefer the nostalgia of shounen, like DBZ, and OPM, but I've seen a few that were described as such.

I can tell you that my SC G8GT picked up 1lb of boost with an 11" filter compared to the 8" I originally started with on the dyno.

Have to see what their dyno has setup in regards to the items you outlined. I know they have tail pipe sensors etc.

If they can hook up EFILive or HPT it would be extremely valuable information.

For anyone concerned about the MAF changes when switching to our CAI,

A very knowledgeable forum member purchased our CAI and did extensive data logging over the weekend. He had this to say about the Roto-fab system:

"Quick update... I will post specifics later tonite.

So I would like to say great job to Rotofab. I am very impressed with not only the construction quality of their intake I am impressed at how accurate they kept the MAF output. The variation on AFR was sub 1% across the RPM band. This was data collected in MAF only mode in the ECM which really isolates the AFR from being influenced by other variables. I did 3rd gear runs (A8) from 1500 RPMs up to redline. The stock vs RF runs were within a couple hours of each other with minimal weather variation.

On the power front I was not on a dyno today but the one area that hints at a definite improvement is the MAP. I stays about 1 kPa higher across the RPM range over the stock intake. So as of right now I do expect to see a power increase of some level on the dyno."
