I could afford the car as well so financially wasn't the issue she just made it sound like I was pumping a bunch of money into it to which I replied well it's my money so... lol. Strongly agree. Any 19y/o that offers ultimatums for a boyfriend's purchase is controlling and not worth keeping. Enjoy your young years, focus on a career before a serious relationship
