I painted on some white letters on my car's Goodyear Eagle F1: G2's. I find whiteout works better than paint pens made specifically for tires, ironically enough. It lasts a lot longer and provides a brighter white. It's also easier to clean up the excess with a little mild paint thinner and doesn't smear nearly as much as the paint from a tire pen.
I've gotten compliments on mine. Some people like it, some don't but are probably in the minority honestly. I have a black car with black rims too, so I feel it helps break things up a little bit. The wheels look really cool in motion as the letters rotate. It does take about an hour to properly touch them up every few months, but I find it fun and it's fairly hard to screw up. It's rewarding when they come out looking fresh and new. Plus you literally can't buy white letter tires for cars anymore, so a lot of older folks who remember when they were common in the 70s and 80s get a kick out of it. |

I love that, it looks so old school bad ass. I thought it was going to look stupid at first, but wow, it looks really cool. Nice job.

I wasn't too convinced on how it looked when I first saw it but now I do really like. The wheels, the car stance once lowered and the white letters on an all black car looks bad ass!!!

Personally, I do not care for the white letters. To each his own, though.

It really does look good lowered, but where I live there are already big enough potholes to swallow a full size car and we have been nominated for having the worst roads in East texas so... I'll have to stick with keeping it stock and dodging massive holes and shoddy repair jobs.
