Hmmm. I am not getting the crux of the disagreement. So if a CAI gives mesaurable gains and the engine is not running too lean is this a problem? I do understand the discussion is about how the gains are made, not if there is a gain. Am I on track?
I think to tune or not to tune is now a big question for me after a GM buyback. A number of others here feel the same way I think. It is fun to try and work under the limits we have to stay "stock". We just have to accept small gains that could be cumualative and be staisfied with that. And there is always slicks, skinnies, and dropping weight. One thing on the 5th gens that made a measurable, but not a big gain, was adding a scoop under the bumber to direct outside air up into the CAI. This also involved moving the washer reservoir. Is this not possible on the 6th gen?
