As for me my first run ever in this car was a 12.653@114.40 shifting by sound. By the end of the night I trapped over 115 once I started to pay better attention to my shifting. That run was my best 60', 2.117, just pedaling the car at launch. That was with 38 pounds in the tires. I dropped the PSI to 26 but trying different RPMs spun big on the next launches. I do think though 1.9s and maybe better are possible with this car on stock tires. It might not be me doing it though. I am a bit hamfooted. The stock clutch is nicely progressive and the SS launches smoothly with no wheelhop.Loving this car. It is almost as fast as my M6 ZL1 and has a much more effective stealth mode. The Snow/Ice setting lets you practice launching at stoplight without drawing any unwanted attention. And my helmet fits with an inch to spare with the sunroof! I am just under 6' but with a long torso and short for my height legs. Good job Chevy! The only of my three 5th gens to fit me with a halmet was the ZL1 with a mohawk. Loving the roof too. Okay stock Mustang 5.0s line up for a spanking! I am ready for the payback and helping you eat those fat slow SS comments from before.

Only if you count the South Jersey Region autocrosses that used to be held in the little paved lot to the left of the strip.
I suck at launching and I know it. Norm

As you know in Autocross sucking is no excuse not to go. ![]() But stay away from the CA6 SSes. And if you do that dare me to autocross my SS and I will follow my own advice. I'm game.

I have some leftover TSW 18" wheels and I may be getting some MT drag radials soon. But I have to figure out where to get those new Camaro PSI wheel senders. Hopefully then I can at least be a closer run for new gen auto SSes by getting my 60s under 2.0.

Easily, if not better...I know of a few manual SS' running 12.20's and they only have 2.0x 60 foots...get that in the 1.9 range and you are in 12 flat range if you can shift.

M6 1/4
I took my car a couple weeks back and only managed to get a best of 13.1 at 115mph could not get out of hole quick enough. 60' varied from 2.4-2.6. I've been practicing and hopefully I can get it in to the 12's
