Sounds great. And you dont have to worry about the NPP valve rattle.

The rattle can be fixed, not an issue I see worth mentioning.

I love this sound, I wonder how I can get it post delivery since I also plan on keeping NPP. Being able to switch modes for me is huge. definitely a seller.

I wish this was a v6. MRT makes a nice sounding exhaust that doesn't cost 800+ . I'm not yet sold that borla is worth the mark-up for a pair of mufflers.

If the stock tube is 4.5" and making 455-460 HP at the top end (greatest CFM demand) why would there be any significant bump in power at the lower RPMs if AFR/spark aren't causing it?

Now on a cam/heads setup there may be true value beyond the stock intake. But right now I think it's one thing appearing as another.

simple the stock intake has bellows and bellows are bad for flow at all RPM. The GM CAI has a smooth hose. The GM CAI has a cone filter with more area and less tumble while entering the intake tube. I can see the claim, in general you are correct that we should see it on the top end. Every car and intake is different.

It sounds OK from what I heard but if you're going to make a video of the new exhaust why wouldn't you punch it a few times not just one little punch. IMHO

What size are those tips?

I ask because I too ordered the car without NPP because I knew that I was going to have the entire exhaust (cat-back) replaced with a complete custom system the week I bought it. I've seen 4" double wall tips that I was planning to use, the tips on your car look really similar, and are a decent size.

Stock is exhaust that comes with the car when you purchase it and new means it doesn't. ................
