Have any of you with 3800 status in the Verts for the last week been released from 3800? My vert should be today or tomorrow for build. I'm afraid to look at the status anymore knowing that most likely it has a month plus in stuck status. Do folks recall how many months went on with the coupes before they went to production/ship mode? In any case, I hope this means our cars will be close to perfect.

There is always a few week hold of initial new model production and the convertible is considered a new model for that purpose.
With one notable exception, the first three weeks of coupe production was held for months, moved from repair facility to repair facility and became a nightmare for all concerned. Through it all and to this day Chevy has been uniform in insisting nothing unusual occurred. I often wonder at the brass of GM's Brass. Laborsmith |

Anyone who has info as to why is not speaking. Even the isolated acknowledgement was carefully phrased. To get the buyer perspective, spend some time in the October 12 section, especially the last dozen or so pages.
Now I must emphasize this launch was a worst case scenario. Could GM be more forthright as to what happened? Yes. Should they? Yes. Will they? I am holding my breath. Not! Laborsmith |

All the verts will have a bit longer to wait. If you do your research you will find early coupes were 8 weeks after build for delivery to begin. Early verts are hitting the 4 week mark in a couple days.....

That's fine by me! I'm actually going to be on a business trip until the end of March so I'm not hasty to get it before I get back; I want to be there when they unload the truck :P
