Not sure if this is any evidence either way, but this VIN card from the GM Service website does not show a Z/28 or LS7

There will be NO Z model folks. I'm not sure why ya'll keep thinking there will be. All of the videos we see out on the N ring are of the COPO RZ28-1 model.

They may do that by stockpiling enough parts to build whatever number Z/28 for another few months , according to their estimates on how many they will be able to sell

It will be a Z, but not a 2016.

I'd still think if possible a 396 n/a Z/28 would be pretty sweet. Great power and torque while playing on the heartstrings of the older crowd. If dodge can clear emissions with the 392 Chevy can considering it'll be using direct injection.

This shows VINs for 2016 which is 100% accurate and has nothing to do with the 2017 lineup. When this VIN chart is released for 2017 it will have all new information, if of course they actually release new products as we all expect.
