The Hellcat is a car you can't describe until you drive it. It doesn't handle quite as good as a 5th gen ZL1 but it isn't night and day difference either. I drove both today back to back. I took my ZL1 vert to the park to go for a run and when I came home I jumped in the Hellcat to go pick up my son from school. The most notable thing to me is the Challenger just seems like a lot nicer car. The interior is a lot more refined and the laguna leather seats just blow the stock ZL1 seats away. The other thing is just the power... It's everywhere in the HC. Every gear every rpm...its just there. Now the ZL1 feels like its more planted and a lot more predictable when turning. Power is good for sure ( I have the Janetty 75 rwhp package) on my Z btw. I could go on for days about each one but I wont bore anyone with that. I can say that both are amazing in their own right. And I feel blessed to own both. This new 6th gen halo car ...whatever its name will be... Will probably tear both of them a new one but thats ok. It's supposed to.. I just cant wait to see it.

Shawn, let's say with the experience you have with both cars and you were going to buy either a ZL1 or Challenger 6-speed for every day driving, which one would you pick?

For me personally. The Hellcat hands down. I just love the car.. Not that I don't love my Z but there is just something about the HC... I wouldn't want to have to choose though lol.

Thanks Shawn. I'm glad you got them both. I had an SRT Charger that I put a twin turbo on it and it was a blast. The extra weight of the car actually help me to get traction. But nothing is like a factory built car. Tired of moding...
