Changing to Powerstop Z26 was one of the best mods I have done so far...No more brake dust....and have not noticed any difference in stopping performance ...

Power Stop does not list pads available for 2017 2SS yet. Wonder if the 2016 are the same?

Are the Z26-1474A the right pads for the fronts? The Power Stop site say yes, but other sites like Amazon say no.

I contacted Powerstop asking if part numbers z261718 and z261474 would work for the 6-piston Brembo setup on the new 2017 50th Anniversary and they said it will NOT work. The gentleman did say that he'll get back to me in a few days hoping he could find a solution.

I'll post something if I find out. I really hope to find a set of ceramic pads.

I understand waxing and other protective solutions will help, but I'd prefer changing the pads.

Thank you for posting this. I was also going to call them. Let us know if they come up with something. I hate cleaning these wheels every time I drive the car. Amazon has Centric Ceramic pads but I don't know if they are any good.

I believe the 16 and 17 Brembo 4 piston setup is the same. I'm not 100% sure though.

When the time comes that I get different wheels, I'll be doing this mod.

I've ordered the CQuartz product to protect the caliper and wheel finish till ceramic pads come available. The brake dust from these oem pads are horrendous.

I'm still looking for the difference in the Z23 series & the Z26 series. I don't want too aggressive a pad that would eat rotors fast. I'll not track the car, but do want at least the same bite & with less dust. And why would there be two different parts that fir on the front (1474 & the 1474A)? There muse be physical differences between them.

Use a c7 zo6 with iron 2 piece rotors in the drop down menus from any brake manufacturer.
