I am still really confused as to why some dealers can order and some cannot. I stopped in last night just to see if they saw pricing but he was persistent that he could not order. It wasn't until I proved that I knew more about it than him that he calmed down and just said well our system doesn't have it yet and he was not sure how other did. Also, one more question, why does the order guide that is on a stick say gm fleet order guide? My understanding is that fleet is different due to bulk ordering. Will there be a difference in options allowed for the 1SS when you order via fleet vs regular factory orders?

All dealers are able to place an order...the order being accepted by GM matched up to allocations the dealer may or may not have right now is a different story.

It has always been fleet order guide ever since I discovered it more years ago than I can remember. But the listings also work for retail not just fleet orders and I have never noticed something listed not available for retail orders unless specifically excluded. Off the top of my head, eExamples would be Sirius/XM and OnStar.

Just called my guy at Jack Maxton Chevrolet and let him know I will have no Dealer markup. He may not return my call now. :-(

Good for you. Don't buy anything above MSRP.

He didn't give a hard date, and I'm sure by two weeks...he meant something around there. I'm expecting them tomorrow or over the weekend at the earliest, but I'd bet on sometime next week.

My local dealer just got in the 2016 vettes with the MSRP missing from the window sticker and they just got their pricing, so I wouldn't hold my breath expecting pricing anytime soon....but if they need the orders badly enough maybe it will come out sooner

Dealers that want Camaros will order whether pricing is available or not. Remember, Chevy sells the Camaro to the dealers The dealers are Chevy's customers.
