Okay, one more observation (I'm a little slow)... one of the objects has the mill grooves... the OTHER one seems to be chromed, making the mill grooves almost impossible to see (but, yes, they are evident, under the coating of chrome). This gives me the impression that the chromed one (which appears to be older, more worn) may have been the original, and that somebody tried to mill/ make a replacement.

But, then, thinking it out even further, I don't know why both would have manufacturing stamps "F.M.K. Denmark") on them...

They are just Henway calibration inserts. You need one to keep your Henway in alignment.

I was born at night, but not LAST night, Angrybird... I refuse to ask, "What's a Henway?!?"

One more observation regarding how the two are different from each other: I can drop a U.S. nickel through both of the crossdrilled holes on the non- chromed one... but that same nickel will not fit into either of the crossdrilled holes on the other.

Now they look like solid bushings for a shifter.

Google searching "FMK" has brought me to a possibility of the "Fredericia Motor Klub," in Denmark (since these ate tool- stamped, "F.M.K. Denmark").

I don't read Danish, I only like them with my coffee. However, It appears that this is some sort of motorcycle- related club, perhaps youth- oriented (judging from pictures of the club I see online).

Anybody know motorcycle parts well enough to tell if these are bike parts?

I also googled it and found FMK on so many websites, some that were medical in nature.

Oh, and the cheese are the best!!
