If the 1LT/2LT trims come with a 2.0L turbo engine standard and you choose to add a 3.6L V6 engine that will be extra right?its like adding on a feature?

Im not sure how this'll play out on the 6th Gen. On the 5th Gen LT without the RS package you got a speed limiter of 115 mph because of the smaller rims that come with a lower speed rated tire. If you got the RS package you got the bigger rims and the same tiers as the SS. What that meant was that the LT/RS has no speed limiter just like the SS.

On the 6th Gen the LT can't get the same rims as the SS. You will get 20' rims with the RS package they will be all the same size, no staggered tires. Plus GM wont offer summer tires on the LT only all weather.

So adding that RS package and the 6.2L V6 engine will definately cause the price to go up. Hopefully they are priced reasonably. I might have to do a down payment if I want my payments in a certain range. With the added features of the new 2016 it just may be worth it. The inside looks like it has more space, not to mention the new radio which probably has new features and the ambient lighting and ability to change the color at will.
Who else likes the interior of this car??

6.2L is the V8. The LGX V6 is a 3.6L.

No RS package with the V8. The SS comes with all the RS stuff.

Like everything other then the center vents. They are just in a really odd place, especially for a manual driver. Just don't understand the placement/reasoning behind it. I like the e-brake vs a mechanical parking brake. Just frees up the middle.

My guess is mid 30s for a fully loaded 2LT V6 RS package

Is this confirmed? that would be great if we didn't have to shell out another grand for better lights. Loved my Halo's on my SS but I always thought that option was kinda pricy just for headlights.

I think everybody has pretty much figured it out based on the 15 page release from GM at the top of the page.

Based on the information from this it looks like both trims for the SS include the upgraded lights. It reads the 1ss and 2 ss will have the hid headlights.

No RS upgrade needed yeahhhhhh

What seems odd to me is why the 20" premium wheels are standard for the LT with the RS and available or optional on the SS?
