Well......the install is finished....took just over an hour with the use of the shop/lift.
My first impression was a little unexpected to be honest.... I wasn't ready for such an increase in cabin noise.....definitely going to need a tune....after a few miles it threw a code like Christian said...AFM definitely has to go. I will reserve judgement on the power until after its tuned. I'm sure with only about 10 miles the ECM was still trying to figure out what the hell happened...LOL I think I may decide to put a set of mufflers back on it.......not sure yet.....borla attack or slp loud mouths...maybe

Well, speaking of confused........ I took the car back into the shop this morning to have my buddy check it all over.....making sure all the clamps and bolts were tight etc., we moved the cats just a little farther back and retightened the clamps. I ran the car on several different trips even letting the wife take a few passes on a back road so I could hear the new sound.....then while coming home from our errands, I noticed that the temp outside was now in the mid 80's and the car didn't seem to be as crisp as the morning run, BUT my CEL WAS NOW OFF ?????????? didn't think that would or could happen........

Anyone have any ideas for me.....the left side connection from the header to the cat won't stop leaking. I have re adjusted and clamped it down by 2 different people now and after a day or two its leaking again.??????????

Yeah, I was afraid that would be my only real option...... I really didn't want to compromise the coating on the end of the connector......S@$%!!!!

You can try some high temp RTV but it will probably require frequent re-application.

Yeah, that sounds like more of a pain in the a-- than its worth......one and done sounds a lot more like the solution....but at what cost to the coating?
